About Us
Vegetarian House opened in 1994 with a vision of a world where humans and animals could live together in peace, love and harmony. Inspired by Supreme Master
Ching Hai, a world renowned spiritual teacher and humanitarian who stresses the importance of honoring nature, we serve fresh, organic, locally sourced, dishes
cooked and seasoned with non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) ingredients. Also concerned for the happiness and wellbeing of our animal friends, all dishes
are wholly vegan; i.e. animal free.

Living Sustainably
In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we purchase ingredients from local sources and veganic farmers, whenever possible, use 100% sustainable energy
generated from solar panels on the roof with the balance made up by wind power and use energy efficient lighting and appliances. We recycle or compost all waste,
whenever possible. You can also be assured when ordering Delivery or Takeout that all packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials which are either
biodegradable or compostable.

What Makes Us Special
We are a Certified Green Business. We recycle and reuse whenever we can, including water from vegetable washing and our Reverse Osmosis water system.
Vegetable clippings are composted, into local our garden (or local gardens). We use environmentally friendly packaging and supplies.
